Some brands are aware that consumers are more sensitive to picking floss that doesn't endanger animals and wildlife species so they come up with their deceiving version: greenwashing floss!
A greenwashing brand is when it pretends to be eco-friendly, sustainable, and natural when it is not!
Avoid greenwashing floss made by brands that use
❌Recycled polyester, sourced from plastic water bottles.
Even if it is made with recycled plastic the final product is still plastic. These brands if they wanted to be truly eco-friendly should come with real biodegradable material. I wish they could find a better alternative!
❌Nylon coated with natural wax

I don't recommend Cocofloss even if it is made with recycled plastic the final product is still plastic. I tried to consider this brand but if they still want to be truly eco-friendly they should come with real biodegradable material. Which is danger for wildlife
Cocofloss is spun from 85% recycled polyester, sourced from plastic water bottles. I wish they can find a better alternative!
