✅USDA Certified Organic Seal: at least 95% of the ingredients are organic. no GMOs, no pesticides, no fertilizer, water, and soil preservation.
✅Vegan: animal-free products are more eco-friendly. no dairy, eggs, gelatin, or bone char sugar!

❌Bone char is something that I truly avoid! According to PETA:
“Bone char—often referred to as natural carbon—is widely used by the sugar industry as a decolorizing filter, which allows the sugar cane to achieve its desirable white color.
Bone char, which is used to process sugar, is made from the bones of cattle from Afghanistan, Argentina, India, and Pakistan.”
Bone char is also used in other types of sugar. Brown sugar is created by adding molasses to refined sugar, so companies that use bone char in the production of their regular sugar also use it in the production of their brown sugar. Basically, it is in the majority of candies, and if you want to avoid it, choose USDA-Certified organic products!

😮Yes, bone char is used to bleach and filter refined sugar! According to @peta: if you want vegan sugar, avoid all refined sugar, alternatives are Sucanat and Turbinado which are not filtered with bone char. Or choose beet sugar! 🐰
